Steph West (formerly Steph Greegor) earned the 2011 Best Sports Writer in the state of Ohio, Second Place award from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists for her coverage of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets for The Other Paper. She also earned the 2010 Best Sports Writing first place award from American Community Newspapers for her coverage of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets and the MLS’s Columbus Crew, also for The Other Paper.

She was later recruited to Fox Sports Ohio to write stories for their digital and social assets, and later earned a spot as a guest broadcaster and correspondent for the FSO television show Blue Jackets Live, which she appeared for multiple episodes across three seasons. She worked to cross-promote digital assets with television assets for FSO and its Blue Jackets coverage.
